Miura Partners exits Tekman after scaling the company’s size and international footprint

  • Impact Partners, Inveready and Generali have acquired Miura’s majority stake in Tekman, partnering with the company’s founders.

  • Tekman has consolidated its leadership in innovative Math and Language programs across K-12, serving over 500,000 students and 2,400 schools in Spain and Latin America.

Miura Partners has completed the sale of its stake in Tekman Education to Impact Partners, Inveready and Generali, who have acquired a majority position and joined the shareholding alongside the founding team. The founders have reinvested in the project to continue supporting Tekman’s growth in this new phase.

Founded in Barcelona in 2010, Tekman is a leading provider of K-12 innovative educational programs, with a distinctive pedagogical approach in mathematics, language and literature. Its flagship programs—Emat, Onmat, Ludiletras, and Superletras—are present in over 2,400 schools and reach over 500,000 students throughout Spain and Latin America.

Since Miura’s entry in 2016, Tekman has developed new innovative educational programs and grown its footprint from less than 1,000 schools in Spain in 2016 to more than 2,400 schools in 2024, including key new markets in Latin America such as Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.

As part of its growth strategy, the company acquired Didacta+ in 2024, a specialist in literature for secondary and high school, with programs like Punt Volat and Asterisco. This strengthened its upper stage portfolio and increased its presence in public schools.

During this period, the company has increased its revenue from €7 million in 2016 to over €22 million in 2024 and grown the team from less than 50 to more than 150 employees.

Tekman has also embedded sustainability into its strategy—promoting digital content to reduce environmental impact, supporting social inclusion, and fostering a corporate culture grounded in equality and well-being.

In this next phase, Tekman—together with Impact Partners, Inveready and Generali—will continue to consolidate its leadership in Spain and drive growth across Latin America. With proven experience in the education sector and in growth projects, the new shareholders will bring strategic vision and support to further develop the project, building on the legacy established with Miura.

The founding team, led by Enric Del Pozo, continues to lead Tekman with the same commitment and vision for the future, alongside the management team.

Luis Seguí, Founding Partner and CEO at Miura Partners:

“Tekman is a prime example of how we partner with purpose-driven companies to support their sustainable growth and internationalisation. We are proud to have backed Enric del Pozo and Lea del Pozo in consolidating Tekman as a leading name in the education sector, while handing the project to new investors such as Impact Partners and Inveready, who share Tekman’s future vision.”

Enric del Pozo, Founder and CEO of Tekman Education:

“Miura’s strategic and operating support has been instrumental in expanding our reach and educational impact. We are excited about this new chapter, staying committed to our mission of transforming education worldwide.”
