In October 2016, Miura invests in Tekman Education, the Spanish market leader in the development and marketing of innovative educational programs for infant, elementary and secondary education.

Founded in Barcelona in 2010, Tekman is a leading provider of K-12 innovative educational programs, with a distinctive pedagogical approach in mathematics, language and literature. Its flagship programs—Emat, Onmat, Ludiletras, and Superletras—are present in over 2,400 schools and reach over 500,000 students throughout Spain and Latin America.

Since Miura’s entry in 2016, Tekman has expanded its content portfolio offering across all educational stages and school types and has entered key markets in Latin America such as Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.

As part of its growth strategy, the company acquired Didacta+ in 2024, a specialist in literature for secondary and high school, with programs like Punt Volat and Asterisco. This strengthened its upper stage portfolio and increased its presence in public schools.

During this period, the company has tripled its school client base, grown from 50 to more than 150 employees and increased its revenue from €7.4 million in 2016 to over €22 million projected for 2025.

In 2025, Miura completed the sale of its stake in Tekman to Impact Partners, Inveready, and Generali, who acquired a majority position and joined the shareholding alongside the founding team. In this new phase, Tekman—together with the new shareholders—will strengthen its leadership in Spain and expand its growth across Latin America. The founding team, led by Enric Del Pozo, remains committed to Tekman’s vision and future, working alongside the management team.
